Engineering Process Technician, Cell (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Engineering Process Technician to join the cell‑manufacturing pilot line at our Gigafactory in Berlin‑Brandenburg. You will support the development phase by setting up, operating and fine‑tuning equipment, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency while contributing to the transition to sustainable energy.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, adjust and perform minor preventative maintenance on equipment at various development stages.
• Troubleshoot problems during engineering builds and propose solutions.
• Inspect and test finished products, documenting results clearly.
• Assemble and test manufactured goods for dedicated tooling or processes.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop test methods and operating procedures.
• Load and unload materials of varying weight into containers and tools.
• Conduct analytical tests, record data using defined tools and software.
• Support safety, cleanliness, material usage and continuous improvement of output and equipment uptime.

Required profile

• Experience in semiconductor, optics, cell, start‑up or pilot production environments.
• Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency with power tools and strong motor skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and analytical reasoning.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Comfortable with a fast‑changing, dynamic work environment.
