Engineering Technical Planning & Scheduling Engineer

About the role

Join Airbus Defence and Space as an Engineering Technical Planning and Scheduling professional. You will support the Technical Planning Team by managing schedules and workload for key engineering programmes such as Eurofighter, ensuring smooth coordination across engineering, operations and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑level and detailed schedules for Eurofighter engineering activities.
• Update and maintain schedules in the Unified Planning Tool (UP).
• Monitor schedule deviations and support the Chief Engineering office in programme control.
• Track inter‑dependencies, anticipate risks and issues, and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Act as the central scheduling liaison between engineering and other organisations (programmes, operations, services).
• Assist with annual budget planning, including OP/EACs and forecasts.
• Coordinate and manage workload across engineering offers from kick‑off to delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in technical planning or scheduling within an engineering environment.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage complex inter‑dependencies.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk identification and mitigation.
• Excellent communication skills to serve as a focal point for multiple stakeholders.
