Equipment Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for an Equipment Engineer to join our Itzehoe site, providing technical support and ensuring the availability of production equipment. The role starts as soon as possible and offers flexible working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assume full responsibility for a group of production systems.
• Maintain and repair equipment, facilities, and systems while documenting all work performed.
• Monitor system availability and calculate production‑specific key performance indicators.
• Coordinate projects aimed at improving system reliability and production efficiency.
• Collaborate across teams to optimise production processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a master craftsman/technician certification with a technical focus.
• Experience handling hazardous materials is desirable.
• Independent, solution‑oriented work style with strong communication skills.
• High motivation, reliability and willingness to work on‑call shifts.
• Fluent in German and English.
