European Recruiter (Medical Devices)

About the role

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is expanding its European footprint and seeks an experienced Recruiter to own end‑to‑end talent acquisition across 16 European countries. The role sits within the European HR team and works closely with HR Managers and hiring managers to ensure a compliant, data‑driven hiring process in a highly regulated medical‑device environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate full recruitment cycles for multiple positions across 16 European markets.
• Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, agencies and employee referrals.
• Support employer branding initiatives and manage the European Employee Referral Programme.
• Shortlist candidates with focus on technical expertise, regulatory awareness and cultural fit.
• Organise interview schedules with HR and hiring managers.
• Monitor and report recruitment KPIs such as time‑to‑hire, pipeline health and source effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, internal policies and quality standards for regulated environments.
• Identify and lead continuous‑improvement projects to enhance talent attraction.

Required profile

• Prior recruitment experience, preferably in medical devices, life sciences or other regulated sectors.
• Strong knowledge of European recruitment practices and stakeholder management.
• Ability to handle multiple roles across countries and functions.
• Highly organised with strong administrative capabilities.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience preparing KPI reports.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
