EV Pre-Delivery-Inspection Supervisor

About the role

The EV Pre-Delivery-Inspection (PDI) Supervisor is part of the Vehicle Logistics Department and ensures that inbound, stored and outbound vehicles meet quality standards across Europe. The role combines inspection planning, quality control, issue reporting and continuous process improvement to guarantee a smooth, high‑quality vehicle flow from factories to dealers and end customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, instruct, control and report PDI activities for new inbound, stored and outbound vehicles.
• Monitor inspection processes, including exterior/interior damage checks, component and accessory verification, software updates and language settings.
• Coordinate PDI work performed by internal teams or third‑party logistics providers and assign third‑party inspectors as needed.
• Develop and continuously improve PDI and quality‑control processes across designated ports and compounds.
• Prepare detailed reports on PDI results, vehicle quality status, damage findings and recurring issues.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and collaborate with Quality, Production and Engineering teams to resolve identified issues.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle arrivals, PDI completion status and delivery readiness.
• Escalate quality or compliance concerns promptly and coach PDI coordinators on standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automotive service, vehicle inspection, quality control or pre‑delivery inspection.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent coordination skills with logistics service providers, internal teams and external partners.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (≈50% or more).
