Executive Director – Heavy & Special Transport

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Director to lead our heavy and special transport division across Germany. Reporting directly to the COO, you will shape strategy, drive operational excellence and ensure consistent service delivery across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a multi‑site heavy and special transport operation throughout Germany.
• Develop and implement standardized processes and best practices across the network.
• Lead, coach and develop site and regional management teams.
• Monitor and improve operational performance, efficiency and compliance.
• Identify and execute continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support strategic growth and scalability of the business.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in heavy transport, special transport, project logistics or a related sector.
• Successful track record managing multi‑site operations and large teams.
• Strong expertise in process optimisation and operational performance.
• Hands‑on leadership style with ability to influence change.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Germany.
• Fluent German and English preferred.
