Field Application Engineer – Battery Energy Storage

About the role

As a Field Application Engineer you will be the technical face of Pixii for customers across Germany and Europe. You will guide clients through solution design, system integration, commissioning and ongoing support while collaborating with sales, R&D and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support sales and partners by providing technical and commercial input during tendering and project execution.
• Deliver technical training and support on system installation, electrical integration and IT connectivity.
• Create clear, customer‑specific technical documentation and specifications.
• Assist with prototyping, commissioning and internal/external acceptance testing.
• Provide structured feedback to R&D and product management to influence future product features.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with an independent, proactive work style.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and across Europe.

Required skills

• Hardware and software knowledge of electrical devices, including low‑voltage and medium‑voltage switchgear.
• Proficiency with standard office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of battery‑based energy storage systems (advantageous).
