Field Operations Crew – Flight Operations & Test

About the role

As a Field Operations Crew member for Flight Operations and Test at STARK, you will be the logistical backbone of every flight‑test campaign. Working side‑by‑side with flight test engineers and pilots, you ensure that all equipment, supplies and site preparations are ready so the technical team can focus on the mission.

Key responsibilities

• Pack, load and secure flight‑test equipment, ground support gear and spare parts; maintain an organised inventory.
• Identify and source consumables, spare parts and last‑minute items to avoid mission delays.
• Set up and dismantle test sites, including safety perimeters, power stations, shelters and support equipment.
• Operate company vehicles to transport equipment and personnel; a valid driver’s licence is required.
• Assist engineers and pilots with pre‑flight checks, cable routing, battery charging, airframe preparation and sensor installation.
• Provide basic on‑site technical assistance and operate data‑logging tools for post‑flight checks.
• Support safety procedures, range clearance and compliance with SORA/EASA requirements.

Required profile

• Reliable, resourceful and able to handle a wide variety of hands‑on tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same.
• Willingness to learn new technical procedures and equipment.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to operate company vehicles.
