Field Operator – LNG Terminal

About the role

Reganosa is expanding its LNG terminal in Brunsbüttel and seeks a Field Operator to ensure safe and efficient plant operation. The role involves monitoring regasification and send‑out processes on a 24/7 basis, responding to emergencies, and supporting mechanical maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Control plant equipment under normal and emergency conditions, adhering to safety, health and environmental standards.
• Monitor regasification and send‑out operations continuously, reporting any abnormal behaviour.
• Adjust operational regimes to meet nomination requirements while optimizing energy consumption.
• Create, execute and track work orders related to mechanical maintenance.
• Ensure safe working practices during maintenance, including permit‑to‑work and confined‑space procedures.
• Participate in emergency response according to the Emergency Response Plan.

Required profile

• Fluent English (C1); German language knowledge is a plus.
• Previous experience in oil & gas or a related industrial environment.
• Strong teamwork, planning and maintenance orientation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of LNG regasification processes and Ship‑to‑Ship operations.
• Familiarity with chromatography systems and gas metering technologies.
• Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably SAP.
• Understanding of occupational safety, permit‑to‑work, confined spaces and hazardous area procedures.
• Mechanical maintenance competence.
