Field Technician III – Nuclear Tool Specialist

About the role

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Field Technician III to support nuclear power plant outages worldwide. The technician will act as the specialist for bolt replacement and related tooling, ensuring equipment is maintained, assembled and ready for use on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and commission bolt replacement equipment and associated specialist tools.
• Assemble, modify and test mechanical and electrical components according to drawings.
• Operate bolt replacement tools on‑site and provide the correct tooling to platform workers.
• Train new team members and subcontractors on equipment usage.
• Collaborate with international teams and support cross‑departmental projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience operating or maintaining bolt replacement or similar complex field service equipment.
• At least two platform‑worker assignments on bolt replacement or D&D jobs worldwide.
• At least one tool‑specialist assignment on bolt replacement projects.
• Basic computer, software installation and networking knowledge.
• Proficiency in English (minimum A2) and native‑level German or equivalent.
