Finance Analyst – Venture Capital (Berlin)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to support the financial and operational management of our venture capital funds in Berlin. The role will combine traditional finance work with the redesign of processes using AI tools to increase speed and impact. You will work closely with the CFO, VP Finance & Investor Relations and the Senior Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis of portfolio companies and funds, including cap table work and waterfall modelling.
• Utilise AI tools to accelerate data analysis and streamline document processing.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for fund investors, handling enquiries and preparing capital call and distribution notices.
• Coordinate with external fund administrators to ensure smooth fund operations, onboarding new investments and managing documentation.
• Support fund accounting and treasury functions, preparing quarterly and annual financial reports and assisting with audits and tax filings.
• Contribute to regulatory reporting and compliance in collaboration with legal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field with strong academic performance.
• 1‑2 years of finance experience, preferably in venture capital or private equity.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
