Finance Analyst – Venture Capital (Berlin)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to support the financial and operational management of our venture capital funds in Berlin. The role will combine traditional finance work with the redesign of processes using AI tools to increase speed and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis of portfolio companies and funds, including cap table work and waterfall modeling.
• Utilise AI‑driven tools to accelerate data analysis and streamline reporting.
• Act as a primary contact for fund investors, handling enquiries and preparing capital call, distribution and quarterly reports.
• Coordinate with external fund administrators to ensure smooth fund operations, onboarding new investments and managing documentation.
• Support fund accounting and treasury functions, preparing quarterly and annual financial statements and assisting with audits and tax filings.
• Contribute to regulatory reporting and compliance in collaboration with legal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field with strong academic performance.
• 1–2 years of finance experience, preferably in venture capital or private equity.
• Understanding of venture‑capital fund finance and operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
