Finance Consultant – Reporting & FP&A

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Consultant – Reporting & FP&A to join our Düsseldorf team and help clients modernise their finance operations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. You will turn reporting and planning processes into smarter, scalable solutions that link financial data with strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client finance processes and design D365 Finance solutions for reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Implement and optimise Power BI dashboards to visualise KPIs and support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with CFOs, finance teams and developers to ensure seamless integration of financial data.
• Participate in national and international D365 projects across various industries.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to client stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in FP&A, controlling or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, KPI management and core finance processes.
• Fluent in German and English, comfortable communicating with senior finance leaders.
• Proactive, curious and able to work independently in a hybrid environment.
• Bonus: experience in real‑estate, asset management or financial services.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (implementation or configuration).
• Power BI (reporting and dashboard creation) – nice‑to‑have.
