Finance Controller – Berlin, Germany

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Finance Controller to support the day‑to‑day financial operations of our fast‑growing renewable energy business in Berlin. The role sits at the “machine room” of finance, providing detailed reporting while gaining exposure to broader processes across our international platform.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and support controlling activities.
• Perform Excel‑based financial analysis and manage financial data.
• Manage end‑to‑end invoicing process.
• Coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors.
• Handle operational financial data exchange with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support banking processes, including documentation and preparation of materials.
• Assist with contract‑related financial tracking during development and construction phases.
• Act as the operational interface with the HQ finance team in Spain.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting.
• Strong hands‑on mentality with attention to detail.
• German native speaker (mandatory) and good level of English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.
