Finance Controller

About the role

You will be a key partner in the financial and strategic development of the German business unit of an international sun‑protection and shading systems group. Working in a dynamic, multinational environment, you will support the Group CFO and senior leadership with accurate financial information and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational financial controlling activities for the German unit.
• Prepare, analyse and comment on monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Monitor performance, conduct variance analysis and identify root causes.
• Create management reports and KPIs for leadership and business departments.
• Support investment analysis, business cases and financial evaluations.
• Contribute to the optimisation of controlling processes, reporting structures and internal standards.
• Collaborate closely with accounting, management and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in financial controlling or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting and KPI analysis.
• Excellent English and good German (minimum B2) for interaction with international stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset, proactive and solution‑oriented attitude.
