Finance Lead (Corporate Finance & Strategy)

About the role

Phlair is pioneering electrochemical Direct Air Capture technology to remove CO₂ from the atmosphere. As Finance Lead you will own the finance function end‑to‑end, driving corporate finance, financial planning and strategic project support.

Key responsibilities

• Own finance end‑to‑end, including accounting and reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial and corporate models for planning and decision‑making.
• Lead strategic and project‑related topics, gradually taking ownership of the techno‑economic and project models.
• Explore debt financing options and support equity fundraising and investor‑relations activities.

Required profile

• STEM degree with finance or business experience in a technical environment.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience; exposure to private equity, top‑tier consulting or fast‑paced startups is a plus.
• Bias for action – prototype, test and ship quickly.
• Comfortable with intensity – extreme ownership and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Ego second – focus on winning over being right.
• Independent problem‑solver – no hand‑holding.
• Excellence as standard – mediocrity is not acceptable.
