Finance Manager (Full-time or Part-time)

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to own the financial and operational backbone of our fast‑growing AI‑driven startup. You will be the go‑to person for P&L transparency, rolling forecasts, KPI ownership, investor reporting and strategic decision support.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate, trusted view of P&L, cash, runway, burn and budget, keeping forecasts dynamic and assumption‑driven.
• Own the logic and reporting of financial and operational KPIs; help build a KPI and OKR system linking performance to financial outcomes.
• Support major decisions with robust business cases for hires, investments, tooling, pricing and commercial initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver management and investor reports, pulling data from finance, HubSpot CRM and internal systems.
• Manage the relationship with the German tax advisor and coordinate internal stakeholders to provide receipts, forecasts and invoices.
• Improve reporting structures, reduce manual work and implement AI‑supported workflows for variance analysis and forecasting.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in finance, FP&A, controlling or strategic finance, preferably in SaaS or a fast‑moving startup.
• Strong expertise in reporting, planning, KPI systems and business analysis; commercially minded and detail‑oriented.
• Clear communicator able to work cross‑functionally and present to investors.
• Comfortable coordinating with external partners such as tax advisors.
• Enthusiastic about leveraging AI to elevate finance workflows.
• Willing to work from the office and collaborate closely with the team; part‑time applicants must commit to at least 20 hours per week.
