Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to provide proactive financial leadership for our Germany business. The role involves developing analytical insight for strategic decisions, initiating controls to strengthen Cipla’s financial health, and partnering with various functions to drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales controlling and GTN activities, creating price/volume/sales scenarios with the tender department.
• Monitor sick fund invoices and implement a G2N model for Germany.
• Review customer contracts, set credit limits and terms in collaboration with the Contracts team.
• Track receivables, send timely reminders, and maintain healthy cash flow.
• Close financial books according to corporate timelines and ensure timely audit closure.
• Manage accounts receivable/payable processes, approve supplier invoices, and reconcile payments.
• Oversee company card and expense management, and coordinate invoicing with third‑party suppliers.
• Set internal and external financial policies such as DSO limits and credit terms.
• Partner with business units to analyse growth drivers, drive competitive insights, and evaluate M&A or in‑licensing opportunities.
• Collaborate with supply chain on inventory optimisation and working‑capital management.
• Prepare and share real‑time LBE targets, monitor MOR, division flash, and marketing spend.
• Lead banking system implementation and establish back‑office AP/AR teams.
