Finance Manager

About the role

Deltia, an AI-driven company for manufacturing and industrial automation, is seeking a Finance Manager to own the day‑to‑day finance function. Reporting directly to the founders, you will shape the financial infrastructure and prepare to grow into Head of Finance as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly investor reporting packages, manage data rooms, and serve as the internal counterpart for investors' finance teams.
• Maintain and improve controlling setups, including P&L, cost‑center tracking, variance analysis, and month‑end close.
• Build and maintain dashboards that give founders real‑time visibility into financial performance.
• Own the financial model, rolling forecasts, scenario planning, and cash‑runway visibility; drive annual budgeting and keep headcount and OpEx plans current.
• Oversee AP/AR, vendor payments, and coordinate VAT filings and year‑end work with external accountants.
• Lead junior staff and interns, identifying and fixing process gaps before they become issues.

Required profile

• 4+ years of finance experience, preferably in a startup or high‑growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
• Fluent in German and English at a working level.
• Independent, clear communicator who can operate without hand‑holding.
