Financial Accountant – Bad Homburg, Germany

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our finance team in Bad Homburg, Germany. The role focuses on accounts receivable, invoicing, collections and daily financial administration within a growing international organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer invoicing processes and ensure billing accuracy.
• Monitor accounts receivable, maintain customer account records and execute credit control.
• Conduct dunning, payment reminders and escalation procedures.
• Process daily bank transactions and perform reconciliations, investigating payment discrepancies.
• Support month‑end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Assist with finance administration and continuous process improvements while ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance operations or financial administration.
• Strong understanding of invoicing, accounts receivable and credit control.
• Proven experience with at least two ERP systems (excluding DATEV); exposure to NetSuite is a plus.
• Very good German and English (minimum C1) – written and spoken.
• Residence within approximately 45 minutes of the Bad Homburg office.

• Advanced MS Excel – VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables.
• ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar).
