Financial Accountant – France

About the role

As the Financial Accountant for HYROX France, you will be the backbone of our financial operations in one of our most dynamic markets. Reporting directly to the Group CFO and partnering with the Country Manager, you will ensure that the French entity complies with all legal and fiscal requirements while delivering high‑quality financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and finance inbox handling.
• Prepare French tax returns, set VAT rates and ensure compliance with FR GAAP and local tax legislation.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes and produce reports in HFM for the Group.
• Oversee weekly vendor payments and coordinate payroll entries and social security charge controls.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and act as primary contact for banks, auditors and external accounting firms.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support the Country Manager in managing the French entity.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and FR GAAP, with strong expertise in French tax law and VAT regulations.
• Fluent in English and French, with excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented mindset, comfortable with hands‑on bookkeeping and high‑level reporting.
