Financial Accountant (m/f/d) – Internal Finance Role

About the role

ICEICE is building an internal finance function to replace external accounting services. The Financial Accountant will support the transition to NetSuite ERP, handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping and contribute to audit and reporting activities during the first year of the transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, expense reports, bank transactions and perform account reconciliations.
• Create and post customer invoices, manage payments and dunning procedures.
• Post payroll entries and execute closing entries such as prepaid expenses, accruals and depreciation.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Participate in the NetSuite ERP implementation, including configuration testing of accounting workflows.
• Collaborate with external accounting providers during the parallel run of SAP and NetSuite (Oct‑Dec 2026).
• Assist in audit preparation for the 2026 fiscal year and support the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
• After go‑live (Jan 2027+), take full responsibility for internal bookkeeping and provide backup for the Controlling team.

Required profile

• Solid experience in financial accounting and bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP and NetSuite.
• Ability to work on month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Willingness to support audit activities and tax‑return preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.
