Financial Analyst – DACH Region (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Financial Analyst to support our DACH business. In this hybrid position you will provide financial insights, drive budgeting and forecasting, and enable data‑driven decisions for commercial leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial plans for the DACH region.
• Perform monthly budget‑vs‑actual analysis and explain key variances.
• Deliver ad‑hoc financial analysis across sales, costs, products and customers.
• Produce accurate financial reports and performance dashboards for stakeholders.
• Support commercial decision‑making through data analysis and financial modelling.
• Assist with month‑end close, audits and external reporting.
• Collaborate with international finance teams, shared service centres and commercial partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiencies.
• Support Order‑to‑Cash and Procure‑to‑Pay finance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Controlling.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive and detail‑oriented.
• Fluent in German and English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle JD Edwards is a plus).
