Financial Analyst – Finance & Business Analysis

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its finance team at the Wiesbaden headquarters. The role supports financial planning, reporting and analysis across multiple business areas, helping drive data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Balance sheet forecasting and actuals reporting, including detailed inventory reporting.
• Headcount, capital and project expense reporting, DCF calculations and monthly freight accruals.
• Distressed inventory analysis and preparation/review of cost‑center (P&L) reports.
• KPI reporting and ad‑hoc financial analysis for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in financial or business analysis.
• Master’s (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and investigative abilities.
• Ability to meet critical deadlines and handle a diverse workload in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English; good German language skills are a plus.

• Hyperion / IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
