Financial Analyst – Renewable Energy (Hybrid, Hamburg)

About the role

This position is a highly visible role within a fast‑growing renewable energy platform operating in Germany. The Financial Analyst will act as the main financial liaison between the German business and the wider finance team in France, providing insight and support across the full lifecycle of wind and other infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Build, develop and maintain complex financial models for renewable energy projects.
• Perform financial simulations, scenario analysis and investment appraisals.
• Analyse project economics, returns and overall asset performance.
• Support valuation work and investment decision‑making processes.
• Serve as the primary financial link between the German team and the French finance function.
• Partner with project development teams on commercial decision support.
• Assist senior leadership and the Managing Director on strategic finance initiatives.
• Contribute to commercial asset management for operational assets and present financial insights to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of relevant finance experience (flexible on seniority).
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with project lifecycles from development through operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English; French language skills are a plus.
