Financial Controller – Airbus Projects (Germany)

About the role

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) is seeking a Financial Controller to support strategic Airbus projects across Germany. The role is based on‑site in locations such as Hamburg, Berlin or the Bavaria region and involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial planning, forecasting and budget tracking for Airbus projects.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and conduct data‑driven analysis.
• Manage cost structures, project codes and ensure financial compliance.
• Develop business cases, financial models and scenario analyses.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal teams to guarantee process accuracy.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• Previous experience in financial analysis, controlling, budgeting or reporting.
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort working with complex financial data.
• Fluent English (C1) – mandatory; German (B2‑C1) is a strong plus.
• Citizenship of an EU country.
