Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will act as a key business partner to the leadership of LIVE·TEAM Germany, supporting day‑to‑day financial operations in a fast‑paced sports and entertainment environment. Based in the Amberg office, the role combines financial reporting, budgeting, project accounting and compliance with group policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts for group reporting and local leadership.
• Lead budgeting, reforecasting and variance analysis in line with group timelines.
• Ensure compliance with German tax legislation (employment, VAT, corporate taxes) through liaison with advisors.
• Review and approve payroll, operating expenses and cost allocations.
• Maintain balance‑sheet reconciliations and support internal and external audits.
• Provide strategic finance advice on pricing, performance, investments and new‑business modelling.
• Collaborate with commercial teams on gross‑profit optimisation, cash‑flow improvement and RFP pricing.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and German.
• Qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA or equivalent).
• 5+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in a creative, sports, entertainment or manufacturing setting.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with US GAAP is desirable.
• Proven experience preparing monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
