Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead all financial operations for a multinational group distributing IT products across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This senior role ensures regulatory compliance, delivers accurate financial reporting, and provides strategic insights to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support overall business objectives.
• Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity for operations.
• Assess and mitigate financial risks.
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Finance Controller, Senior Accountant or in a similar senior finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
