Financial Model Audit Analyst

About the role

Gridlines is seeking an experienced Model Audit Analyst to join its fast‑growing financial modelling consultancy. You will work with a team of modelling professionals to analyse, review and enhance complex financial models, ensuring they are robust, reliable and meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial model audit assignments, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Use software checks and parallel model development to identify modelling errors.
• Take ownership of specific projects, delivering high‑quality outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of modelling methodologies and tools.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation covering assumptions, methodologies and results.
• Maintain meticulous records of modelling processes to ensure consistency.
• Assist in creating project plans, timelines and resource allocations for efficient delivery.
• Collaborate closely with team members and communicate findings to clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis within a recognised advisory practice or large corporate.
• Strong appreciation of accounting concepts and understanding of project finance.
• Degree in a numerate discipline; postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance is a plus.
• Demonstrated analytical ability and experience building/operating financial models in Excel.
• Familiarity with the FAST financial modelling standard is desirable.
