Financing Subsidiaries & Joint Ventures Internship

About the role

Join BASF’s Corporate Finance team in Ludwigshafen as an intern in the Financing Subsidiaries & Joint Ventures unit. You will support strategic financing decisions, M&A activities and digitalisation projects over a 3‑to‑6‑month period starting September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing financing strategies for subsidiaries and joint ventures.
• Support M&A evaluation, financial modelling and preparation of investment analyses.
• Contribute to digitalisation initiatives and business analysis tasks.
• Prepare data and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Business Administration or Finance degree program.
• Strong affinity for numbers, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• First practical experience through internships or relevant academic projects.
• Fluent English and good German language skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
