Flight Mechanics Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Flight Mechanics Engineer to join our aerospace team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining flight‑mechanics models, vehicle simulations and tools that support handling‑quality assessments. You will work closely with cross‑disciplinary experts to translate flight‑test data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new flight‑mechanics models, vehicle simulation tools and handling‑quality analysis methods.
• Prepare and validate existing simulation models, cases and input data.
• Analyse flight‑test data and collaborate with aerodynamics, fuel/stores, system design, loads and safety teams.
• Perform aerodynamic data analysis and interpret complex simulation results.
• Document and summarise simulation outcomes for internal and customer reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering (Master’s or Diploma).
• First experience in an IT or aviation environment is desirable.
• Strong proficiency in German and English.
