Founders Associate – Sales

About the role

This is a generalist, high‑ownership role sitting at the centre of an early‑stage B2B cleantech software company. You will work directly with the founding team to drive revenue, build sales infrastructure and keep operations moving in the European energy transition space.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute the sales playbook, owning outreach, pipeline development and deal closure with B2B decision‑makers.
• Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities across European commercial and industrial markets.
• Design and implement internal operational processes to keep daily work running without friction.
• Support team growth by coordinating recruiting efforts and attracting strong candidates.
• Work across Sales, Growth and Customer Success, stepping in wherever the company needs you most.
• Tackle ambiguous, undefined problems with speed and a bias for action.

Required profile

• Native or bilingual German and fluent English.
• At least 1 year of experience at a high‑growth startup, VC fund, investment bank or strategy consulting firm, or strong academic background with relevant internships.
• Demonstrated ability to execute B2B sales outreach and engage senior decision‑makers.
• Hands‑on experience with CRM systems and sales automation tooling.
• Comfort with ambiguity, fast iteration and early‑stage environments.
• Experience designing operational or internal processes from scratch.
• Competitive, high‑energy mindset with strong personal ownership.

What we offer

• Base salary: €65,000–€85,000 annually.
• Equity package (VSOP) with standard vesting schedule.
• On‑site work in Berlin (also Hamburg or Kiel considered).
