Founding Mobile Engineer (iOS)

About the role

Almedia is building the next generation of AdTech and needs a founding mobile engineer to lead the iOS effort. You will own the entire mobile architecture, from initial design to production deployment, and help shape a product that will serve millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑performance, scalable iOS applications using Swift.
• Architect the mobile experience for a brand‑new project, handling the full lifecycle from code to release.
• Optimize system responsiveness, manage split‑testing and feature‑flag services.
• Set technical standards through rigorous code reviews and weekly sync meetings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure rapid delivery and high quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on mobile and software development experience.
• High‑ownership builder with strong intrinsic motivation.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, non‑9‑to‑5 startup environment.
• Excellent communicator in English, both written and spoken.
• Product‑mindset focused on impact rather than just code.
