Fraud Operations Specialist – Real‑time Monitoring & Incident Response

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Fraud Operations Specialist to join our growing fintech team. You will support real‑time monitoring, fraud detection and critical incident response for our card and payment operations as we expand across Europe and prepare for a US launch.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor live card transactions and payment flows, triage alerts, and follow internal playbooks.
• Collaborate with fraud and engineering teams to improve alert accuracy and detection logic.
• Participate in incident management, conduct root‑cause analysis and document post‑incident reviews.
• Use SQL and basic Python to extract and analyse data on anomalies, false positives and emerging fraud trends.
• Work closely with Engineering, Compliance and Customer Relations during live escalations and help refine monitoring dashboards.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in fintech, payments operations, fraud monitoring or a related support function.
• Solid understanding of card payment flows, common fraud scenarios and payment APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and basic Python for data cleanup and automation.
• Familiarity with alerting/monitoring tools, incident response workflows and ticketing systems.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently under pressure and excellent written and verbal English.
• Willingness to work a fixed shift that includes weekend rotations.
