Freelance Clinical Study Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Clinical Study Nurse to join our team in Berlin on an immediate basis. The role is based on‑site at our contract research organisation (CRO) and offers the chance to gain hands‑on experience in clinical trials while working independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient‑centric activities throughout the duration of clinical studies, including screening, enrollment and follow‑up visits.
• Collect blood samples according to protocol specifications and ensure proper handling and documentation.
• Administer investigational medicinal products (IMP) safely and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate source documents, case report forms and trial records.
• Collaborate with investigators, study coordinators and other CRO staff to ensure trial timelines are met.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in clinical research or a related nursing role.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a team.
• Based in Berlin, Germany, with the right to work locally.
• Willingness to operate as a sole trader or limited liability company.

Required skills

• Blood sample collection.
• Administration of investigational medicinal products (IMP).
