Freelance Clinical Trial Wound Care Nurse (Hamburg)

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Clinical Trial Nurse specialised in wound care to support a Phase 2 study of a novel chronic‑wound treatment. Based in Hamburg, you will perform daily home visits, delivering protocol‑driven wound care and ensuring high‑quality data collection.

Key responsibilities

• Visit enrolled trial patients at home across the Hamburg region.
• Provide wound assessments, dressing changes and sample collection according to the study protocol.
• Capture wound photographs and perform bacterial swabs as required.
• Document all procedures promptly and accurately in line with GCP and study requirements.
• Maintain strict protocol compliance and support data quality.
• Collaborate with investigators, study coordinators and project teams.

Required profile

• Qualified Registered Nurse (or equivalent).
• ICW‑certified or equivalent wound‑care qualification.
• Extensive experience in chronic wound management and advanced wound care.
• Fluent German language skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home‑care setting.
• Willingness to complete GCP and study‑specific training.
