Freelance Inspector – Mechanical/Electrical – Greater Berlin

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Inspector for our Industry Services division in the Greater Berlin area. The role involves daily assignments and inspections for German and international customers at manufacturing sites. You will work independently on a variety of mechanical and electrical inspection tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections for German and international end‑customers at manufacturers in the Greater Berlin area.
• Supervise dimensional checks, functional tests, pressure tests, visual inspections and final acceptance tests.
• Prepare inspection reports and review final documentation.

Required profile

• Technical training in metalworking (skilled worker, technician, master craftsman, engineer) or electrical engineering.
• Experience in quality assurance and conducting inspections.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication and customer orientation.
• Willingness to travel, own car, driver’s licence and liability insurance.
