Freelance Lecturer – Business Ethics & Corporate Governance (Berlin)

About the role

IU International University seeks a freelance lecturer to deliver high‑impact courses on Business Ethics, Corporate Governance, Ethical Leadership and Compliance Management at its Berlin campus. You will shape the learning experience for motivated students while enjoying full creative freedom.

Key responsibilities

• Teach fundamental concepts with strong practical relevance in the areas of corporate governance, business ethics, ethical leadership and compliance management.
• Design and develop course materials based on the prescribed textbook, ensuring high quality and relevance.
• Conduct on‑site lectures, practical sessions and tutorials, fostering an interactive learning environment.
• Correct examinations and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Support students in linking theory to real‑world practice and contribute to their personal and professional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Business Law, Management or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience in the subject areas.
• Initial teaching experience (e.g., tutor, lecturer, research assistant) is desirable.
• Strong interest in innovative, digital and modern education methods.
• Enjoyment of working closely with students.
• English language proficiency at C1 level (CEFR).
