Freelance Lecturer – Business & IT (m/f/d)

About the role

IU International University seeks a freelance lecturer to join its Berlin campus from 1 October 2026. You will teach Business and IT related modules, focusing on research methods, scientific writing, literature management and citation styles, while fostering an interactive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and practical tutorials on‑site for up to 40 students per class.
• Design and prepare course materials based on the prescribed textbook.
• Assess and correct examinations and assignments.
• Guide students in applying theory to real‑world business and IT scenarios.
• Support students’ personal and professional development through mentorship.

Required profile

• Successfully completed a university degree.
• Relevant practical work experience in Business or IT.
• Initial teaching experience (e.g., tutor, lecturer, research assistant) is desirable.
• Strong interest in innovative, digital, and modern education.
• English proficiency at CEFR C1 level.

Required skills

• English language skills (C1).
