French Copywriter – UGC & Social‑First

About the role

Paintgun is a fast‑moving creative agency that builds high‑performing paid‑social ads for growth‑focused brands. We are looking for a French Copywriter who specialises in user‑generated‑content (UGC) and social‑first storytelling. The role focuses on writing hooks, scripts and concepts that feel native to TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta feeds and YouTube Shorts.

Key responsibilities

• Write and adapt French copy for UGC‑style paid social ads and organic social posts.
• Develop short‑form scripts and hooks that drive engagement on TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta and YouTube Shorts.
• Collaborate with creative strategists, designers and performance marketers to ensure copy aligns with campaign goals.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform trends and optimise copy for each channel’s best practices.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice while tailoring messages for different audiences.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in French with a strong portfolio of social‑first copy.
• Proven experience creating or scripting UGC and organic social content.
• Deep understanding of how content performs on TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta and YouTube Shorts.
• Ability to write concise, attention‑grabbing hooks and scripts.
• Creative mindset with a performance‑driven approach.

Required skills
