Frontend Developer (m/f) – Vue.js, TypeScript, Tailwind

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer (m/f) to join our technology‑driven e‑commerce team in Stuttgart. You will work on our nine online shops, building modern, performant user interfaces with TypeScript, Vue.js and Tailwind CSS.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend components using TypeScript, Vue.js, Tailwind CSS and Vite.
• Write unit tests and ensure test coverage for all new components.
• Create API clients to communicate with backend services.
• Monitor frontend error logs and performance metrics, proactively improving stability and UX.
• Test, debug, and optimise UI components.
• Continuously enhance usability, accessibility and performance of web applications.

Required profile

• Several years of experience with modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Vue.js (React experience is also acceptable, but Vue is used).
• Hands‑on experience with Vite as a build tool.
• Experience with state‑management libraries such as Pinia or Vuex.
• Deep understanding of CSS, especially utility‑first frameworks like Tailwind.
• Comfortable writing unit tests; TDD is a strong plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English (German is a plus).
