Full Stack Developer - Electronic Warfare Ground Support Systems

About the role

Airbus Defense and Space is looking for a motivated Full Stack Developer to join an agile team creating state‑of‑the‑art electronic warfare ground support systems for platforms such as the A400M, Eurofighter and Tornado. The role is based in Manching, Germany, and focuses on developing software that prepares, tests and evaluates mission data libraries before they are uploaded to aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end and server‑side logic, databases and APIs throughout the software lifecycle.
• Ensure software feasibility, reusability and maintainability; write clean, well‑documented code.
• Perform code reviews, provide feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance development efficiency.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, domain experts and other developers to translate requirements into robust software solutions.

Required profile

• Engineer with a strong motivation for software development in a defence/aerospace environment.
• Experience working in interdisciplinary, agile teams.
• Ability to produce high‑quality, maintainable code and documentation.
