Full Stack Developer

About the role

We are seeking a highly driven Full Stack Software Engineer to own the software that enables operators to see, plan, and control missions through our Ground Control Station and related web applications. You will work across frontend, backend, and real‑time systems, turning live telemetry and fleet data into fast, reliable, and trustworthy interfaces used in field conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build mission‑planning, live telemetry visualization, and vehicle command interfaces for the Ground Control Station.
• Develop low‑latency, high‑reliability data pipelines connecting vehicle stacks (MAVLink/ROS 2, video/sensor feeds) to the frontend.
• Create intuitive operator‑facing UX for high‑stakes, time‑pressured environments.
• Architect and maintain backend services, APIs, and databases supporting multiple web apps and real‑time streams.
• Collaborate with autonomy and robotics engineers to define APIs and data contracts.
• Ensure system resilience for degraded connectivity and offline‑first behavior in field deployments.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of professional software development experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into testable implementations.
• Strong engineering mindset and comfort working in a Linux environment.

Required skills

• Modern JavaScript/TypeScript and a frontend framework (React preferred).
• Backend development with Python, Rust, Node.js, or Go.
• Design and consumption of REST, WebSocket, or gRPC APIs and real‑time/streaming data.
• Linux build systems, package management, and networking basics.
