General Ledger Accountant (Remote, Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated General Ledger Accountant to support our German clinics on a part‑time, remote basis. You will ensure transparent and accurate accounting in line with German HGB and IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS.
• Process accounting transactions, monitor provisions, perform account reconciliations and handle VAT pre‑registrations.
• Serve as the primary contact for clinics and auditors on technical accounting matters.
• Collaborate with internal departments to maintain consistent accounting processes.
• Contribute to the optimisation and digitalisation of accounting workflows.

Required profile

• Commercial training, preferably with a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) qualification.
• Several years of experience preparing statements under HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Strong, structured, independent working style with high reliability.
• Team‑oriented and solution‑focused mindset.
