General Ledger Accountant (Remote, Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated General Ledger Accountant to support Klinik’s network of clinics in Germany. The position is part‑time and fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while ensuring accurate financial reporting for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB) and, where applicable, IFRS.
• Process accounting transactions, perform account reconciliations and manage VAT pre‑registrations.
• Serve as the primary contact for clinics and external auditors on technical accounting matters.
• Collaborate with internal departments to maintain consistent and efficient accounting processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and digitalisation of accounting workflows.

Required profile

• Commercial training with a qualification as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) preferred.
• Several years of experience preparing financial statements under HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Structured, precise and independent working style with high reliability.
• Team‑oriented mindset and a solution‑focused attitude toward process optimisation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP FI and SAP AA modules.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
