General Practitioner (GP) – Permanent Role in St Andrews

About the role

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic General Practitioner to join our forward‑thinking practice in the historic coastal town of St Andrews. The position is permanent, offering 48 flexible sessions and a competitive, negotiable salary.

Key responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care, including support for several palliative care beds.
• Deliver medical cover for the Minor Injuries Unit.
• Run the Fife Coil Hub.
• Participate in teaching and mentorship of GP trainees and medical students.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of ANPs, practice nurses, mental health nurses, HCAs, pharmacists and administrators.

Required profile

• Qualified GP, experienced or newly qualified.
• Commitment to high‑quality patient care and teamwork.
• Interest in professional development and sustainable general practice.
