German-Speaking Junior Field Sales Executive (FMCG)

About the role

A leading international food manufacturer serving retailers, distributors and foodservice partners in international markets is looking for a German-speaking Junior Field Sales Executive (m/w/d) in Germany. The position is fully remote with travel required in Germany, and pays up to €55,000 per year depending on experience, plus a car allowance and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by managing distributor relationships, developing new business opportunities and expanding product distribution across Germany.
• Work with and manage distributors to achieve sales targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand product availability in mainstream retail and foodservice channels.
• Build and strengthen relationships to support long-term business growth.
• Develop and execute promotional and sales initiatives, and review their performance to maximise commercial results.
• Collaborate with distribution partners to optimise stock levels and keep products available.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends and market developments, and provide insights for business planning.
• Prepare regular sales reports, market updates, forecasts and performance analysis for management.
• Work with internal teams to coordinate commercial activities and represent the business professionally.
• Travel regularly within Germany to visit customers and support distributors.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken German is essential.
• Business-level English is required.
• Sales, field sales or territory sales experience, ideally in FMCG, is preferred.
• Experience working with distributors is preferred.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage priorities independently.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to visit customers at least three days a week.
