German Speaking Junior Field Sales Executive

About the role

This position is a junior field sales role focused on fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) in Germany. The successful candidate will work remotely while travelling across the country to manage distributor relationships and grow market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop distributor partnerships to achieve sales targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand product availability in retail and food‑service channels.
• Plan and execute promotional and sales initiatives, monitoring performance.
• Collaborate with partners to optimise stock levels and ensure consistent product availability.
• Track competitor activity, pricing trends and market developments, providing insights for business planning.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and performance analyses for management.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver commercial projects and maintain brand standards.
• Travel regularly within Germany to visit customers and support distributors.

Required profile

• Fluent German (written and spoken) – essential.
• Business‑level English.
• Experience in sales, field or territory sales, preferably within FMCG.
• Experience working with distributors is a plus.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and organisational skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage priorities independently.
• Valid driver’s licence and availability to visit customers at least three days a week.
