German‑Speaking Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

CoachHub is looking for a German‑speaking Accountant to join its Finance team in Berlin. You will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure compliance with German GAAP and tax regulations, and help deliver accurate financial reporting in a fast‑growing, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the company’s financial records, including bookkeeping and account reconciliations.
• Process invoices, expenses, accruals, provisions and fixed‑asset transactions.
• Book bank statements, credit‑card transactions and manage payment controls.
• Prepare VAT declarations, tax reports and support monthly/annual financial statements and audits.
• Assist senior team members with financial analysis, balance‑sheet and income‑statement reconciliations.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of professional experience in accounting or a related finance role.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• Academic degree in Accounting or a comparable qualification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Knowledge of German GAAP and German tax regulations is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with accounting software and ERP tools, preferably NetSuite.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
