GL Accountant – Düsseldorf

About the role

Collins Foods Europe is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to support its fast‑growing restaurant business in Germany and the Netherlands. Based in Düsseldorf, you will own the general ledger and month‑end close processes while collaborating with finance, operations and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger for multiple entities in Germany.
• Execute month‑end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Analyse variances, resolve discrepancies and support VAT filings.
• Assist with audit processes and monitor restaurant cash flows.
• Identify process improvements and drive efficiency across financial operations.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and month‑end close procedures.
• Fluent in English and German with excellent communication skills.
• Hands‑on, analytical mindset and ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑moving setting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or Oracle
